I bought a box set that included five of their CDs called Cigarettes & Carrot Juice about 12 or 15 years ago. The band formed at the University of California Santa Cruz campus in the mid 80’s. I listened to the first CD when I bought it. I figure it’s time to put on a couple more. This is their second release from 1986. Ther are 19 songs totaling 44 minutes long. Many are under 2 minutes and there are quite a few instrumentals. An interesting mix of genres including Punk, Garage, Alt Country, Americana and Psychedelic. There is a cover of an early Sonic Youth song “I Love Her All The Time”. A fun CD to listen to.
