Album number six from Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley. The bass player is James McNew. Originally released in 1993 this is a 2014 reissue. A good record, this Indie band adds some elements of Drone, Shoegaze, Psychedelic, and Ambient to the mix. “Big Day Coming” is played twice, first in a laid back atmospheric style with repetitive organ chords and feedback guitar, the second is a faster more rocking version. “From A Motel 6”, “Double Dare” and “Sudden Organ” are also really good. The record closes with a long instrumental “I Heard You Looking”. This record on the Matador label has a lot of surface noise.
