A band from California this is their fifth album from 2018. Leader Ripley Johnson is also involved in the band Moon Duo with a female keyboard player. I have three of their records and decided to see what this band sounded like. Bought this last year and haven’t listened to it yet. There are seven songs, most in the 5 to 7 minute range. It’s spacey, dreamy, trippy Psychedelic music . The songs have lyrics but most of the music is bass heavy jamming. Nothing from them since this record, he has been concentrating on his Moon Duo project which has a similar sound but with more electronics.
