Will-O-The -Wisp-Will-O-The-Wisp

This album is from 1999 and by the names of the band members on the back cover I would say they are Greek and in fact they are from Athens, Greece. This is their first album playing what I would call Light Progressive or Progressive Folk. With male and female vocals keyboards are the predominate instrument but guitar is heard in “Vision” and there is some flute in a couple of tracks. The album begins and ends with a short piano solo called “Silent Thoughts” in two parts. They also cover Tim Hardin’s “Hang On To A Dream” on side 1. A pretty good album but another one suffering from the smudges and other marks on the record making it sound bad in spots. The record is dedicated to J.R.R.Tolkien and the subject of the song “Elbereth (Lonely Queen)” is from his books. I found this at the Ephrata store in his Progressive section and was attracted by the cover and decided to buy it around 2000.
