The debut album from this band from N.Y.C. I bought this used 2011 release about six to eight years ago most likely at the store in Kutztown. Not sure why I picked this one up never having heard of them. Perhaps I thought the cover looked interesting. First time listening to this one. They are an Indie band on the Captured Tracks label out of Brooklyn. A trio led by Molly Hamilton on guitar and vocals plus bass and drums. Some of the songs remind me of Mazzy Star. They have that same laid-back Psychedelic sound and Hamilton sounds a lot like Hope Sandoval. Other songs have a more Gothic or Dream Pop sound. It all sounds pretty good. This one is a keeper.
