U.F.O.-No Place To Run

This early 1980 release is the first without Michael Schenker who was replaced by Paul Chapman a Welsh guitarist and was produced by George Martin. This is another record I taped off the radio in 1980. One station would play 7 records on Sunday night starting at 7 P.M. many times they would play brand new albums which is how I recorded this one. It was played a lot at the Pyle St. house where I lived from August of ’79 to May of 1980. There were some interesting times there. Since by that spring my records were at my friends house I relied on cassette tapes for my music so these songs were very familiar. Chapman lays down some nice licks and some short solos on these songs pretty much what you would expect from a U.F.O. record. I always liked “Gone In The Night”, “Money, Money”, ‘Lettin’ Go”, and “Anyday”. “Mystery Train” is a song from the 50’s. This is a used record I bought some time ago.
