Tom Tom Club was a side project of Talking Heads rhythm section , married couple Chris Franz and Tina Weymouth. The record is Funky and danceable and as expected very rhythm heavy. This is their first release from 1981. Adrian Belew plays guitar and Tina’s three sisters provide vocals as well as Tina herself. The first two songs, “Wordy Rappinghood” and “Genius Of Love” are their best known songs, I have heard both on the radio. “Tom Tom Theme”, a drum solo and “L’elephant” are also on side one making it a good listen. “As Above So Below” is the best on side two. A used record bought at the Ephrata store for $4. Cover and record are in good shape.
