A really great album, probably their best this 1983 release was one I bought then. At that time we were living in another apartment in Newark Delaware. I was laid off from the shipyard in Maryland and was going to the Wilmington Skills center for the second time for a certificate in shipfitting(the first was for pipefitting). We weren’t at that apartment very long, I was collecting unemployment and after 5 or 6 months we moved into my wife’s fathers house until I took the job in Quincy Massachusetts in August of that year. Talking Heads kicked the Funk up a notch for this one, a great party record. “Burning Down The House”, “Girlfriend Is Better” and “This Must Be The Place(Naive Melody)” were released as singles. “Swamp” is in the soundtrack of Risky Business, the movie title appears in the lyrics of the song. All of side one is excellent and side two is also very good. The record has been played quite a lot and still sounds good.
