Synergy-Electronic Realizations For Rock Orchestra

Original

Synergy is synthesizer composer Larry Fast. This is the first release of his music from 1975. This is one I bought then it has the two small holes in the upper left corner where the price tag was stapled. I never played this a whole lot in fact the last time I put this on was probably sometime in the 80’s. Fast plays a variety of synthesizers, sequencers, and phase shifters. Certainly not Rock and although his synthesizers mimic orchestration it fits more in the Progressive, Electronic or Krautrock genre. Five tracks on this record, the one I remember liking best is “Slaughter On 10th Avenue” the Richard Rogers composition from a Broadway musical. “Legacy” and “Relay Breakdown” are more upbeat while “Warriors” is more mellow and quiet. Fast released five or six more under this name as well as working with Nektar, Peter Gabriel and Foreigner. This marks the end of the S’s that I have been listening to since the end of March.
