A cool band from Iceland, this is their second album from 1989. I probably bought it around that time. These quirky songs blend New Wave, Funk, Electronic, and Alternative with the emotional vocals of Bjork and the accented singing and speaking of Elnar Orn Benediktsson. All the songs are good, the ones I like best are “Regina”, “Speed Is The Key”,” Eat The Menu”, and “Dear Plastic”. After one more album in 1992 the band broke up with Bjork going on to a successful solo career. Reunited is 2006 for one show celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first single “Birthday”, another great song, from their first recording that I had on cassette.
