Sonic Boom(Pete Kember) was a member of Spaceman 3 active in the 80’s breaking up in 1991. He released solo albums under this name as well as Spectrum. This is his second album under this name from 2020. All music by Pete with Panda Bear adding vocals to one song and Britta Phillips bass to another. A rather long record at over 56 minutes it’s not unlike Spaceman 3’s music but instead of their Psychedelic sound this is more electronic related. Somewhat repetitive at times the music is spacey and strange. The first time listening to this one,some voclas are spoken rather than sung and remind me a bit of The Legendary Pink Dots. An instrumental “Tawkin Tekno” was the one I liked best.
