This is one I bought new in 1987. It’s an import from the U.K. with the die cut cover. A collection of covers, I never liked this as much as their other releases. Side one has an odd colection of songs,”Hall Of Mirrors” is a Kraftwerk song I had recorded off the radio in 1976,”Strange Fruit” the Billie Holiday song from 1939′,Dylan’s “This Wheels On Fire”,a Sparks song and one from Disney’s Jungle Book “Trust In Me”. Side two was what I listened to the most. Iggy Pop’s “Passenger” is the best on the record,”You’re Lost Little Girl” by The Doors and “Little Johnny Jewel” by Television were also ones I liked. Songs by Roxy Music and John Cale round out side two. The record sounds very scratchy with many skips. Maybe it needs a good cleaning but will probably be junked.
