Bowie’s last album it came out in January of 2016 just days before his death. My favorite songs,”Blackstar” and “Lazarus” have an almost gothic feel to them while the other five tracks are more jazz oriented. His most experimental record it was released to critical acclaim. Not the easiest record to listen to ,perhaps it will grow on me. I was in Barnes & Noble the day it came out and bought it then. The vinyl version is black with a star shaped cutout showing the record in a clear plastic sleeve.
