A live album from these two Jazz atists. 6 compositions on two records recorded in Europe in 2011. Redman plays sax and Mehldau piano. Playing three covers by Charlie Parker,Thelonius Monk, and Hoagy Carmichael and three originals there is plenty of soloing by both. All over eight minutes in length there are some nice moments in each. The one I liked best was “Always August” written by Mehldau. The album came out in 2016 and bought sometime around then at Barnes & Noble.
