This is a reissue and remastered release on Parlophone Records of the 1972 album that came out in 2016. It’s a somewhat loose concept album about a rock star and some aliens. Considered my many to be his best work it’s hard to disagree.Every song is a rock and roll classic,all written by Bowie except for a cover of American songwriter Ron Davies “It Aint Easy”.That song was also on Three Dog Night’s 1970 album of the same name.When I heard it on Bowie’s record I wondered why Bowie was covering a Three Dog Night Song.”Moonage Daydream” is perhaps my favorite song on the record. Another bad new record the song “Star” has skips all through it.
