The first album from this California band.Led by Josh Holmes who has been involved in many bands like Kyuss,Them Crooked Vultures,and Eagles Of Death Metal. I first heard their music when a co-worker played some of their music at work. This is a 2011 reissue of the 1998 album with three extra tracks and an alternate cover. First time listening to this two record set with a gatefold cover. Holmes guitar playing and writing style has a recognizable sound that I would call Stoner Rock. After listening to it I liked it a lot. Generally Heavy there are some nice solos y Homes who plays almost every instrument on the record except for former Kyuss member Alfredo Hernandez who plays drums. “Regular John” and “Walking On The Sidewalks” on side one that I’ve listened to a few times were really good as were most of the other songs on the record. They have put out six or seven records since this one with ever canging members and guest artists. I bought their secon album recentlay and will be looking to buy some more by them.
