Psychic Ills is a band from New York City formed by Tres arren and Elizabeth Hart. This 2016 release is one I bought shortly after moving to West Lawn. Another recod I bought knowing nothing about the band except that a sticker on the shrink wrap said Hope Sandoval,who I knew from Mazzy Star,sang on one song. This is the first time listening to this record and I find that I really like it. Another Velvet Underground influenced band they play Psychedelic/60’s/Garage Rock type music. I liked all 14 songs on this two record gatefold album on “Desert Haze” colored vinyl totaling about 64 minutes long. One I will wnat to listen to more. Unfortunately this is the last record by them as Tres Warren died in 2020.
