David Bowie-The Man Who Sold the World

Original

I have the original 1970 U.S. release that has the cartoon cover of the man with a gun.The U.K. release had the cover of Bowie in a dress. His first record with his band The Spiders From Mars, it is much more rock oriented than his previous work. I don’t remember when or where I bought this but it was when I still lived at home.”The Width of a Circle” was a favorite of mine back then. The cover is in bad shape and there is a problem on side one. For some reason the tone arm moves back and forth a few degrees while playing the record causing it to play at a slightly slow speed. I have never seen this before.Overall it’s a good record. Nirvana covered the title track and it became a big hit for them. I would like to find a used copy with theU.K. cover.
