An album from 1977 and one I bought about 15 years ago. Another great Jazz Fusion record from Ponty whose electric violin is joined by very good musicians. Ralphie Armstrong on bass was in the second Mahavishnu Orchestra line up with Ponty,guitarists Alan Holdsworth was a later member of Soft Machine,Daryl Stuermer later played with Genesis and Phil Collins,keyboardist Allan Zavod toured with Frank Zappa in the 80’s and drummer Steve Smith joined Journey in 1979. The record has three short pieces and two suites of 12 and 13 minutes. The playing is excellent with strong bass and some great solos by Holdsworth as well as Ponty. The cover is in like new condition and the record plays great. I had his 1983 album Individual Choice with the video of the title track that has time lapse footage of American cities that I always liked. That was sold but I still have a live recording of his on CD.
