Planet P Project-Pink World

Planet P Project is Tony Carey the original keyboard player for Blackmores Rainbow. He plays all the instruments on the record except for some guest guitarists on three songs and sax on one. It’s a concept album about a boy who drinks some contaminated water and gets psychic powers as well as eternal life who then creates some kind of barrier to save people from a nuclear attack. Its a two record set with a gatefold cover. I bought the record in 1984 when it came out. On pink vinyl, I sold it in 2013 and bought this used one about five years ago. It’s in like new condition but on black vinyl. Comes with a pink colored lyric sheet. Lots of synthesizers and drum machines giving it a very 80’s sound but also with some decent guitar solos. Some of my favorite songs are “Power”,”This Perfect Place” and “Behind The Barrier”,which was made into a video that was on MTV a lot and the reason I bought the record.”A Boy Who Can’t Talk” sounds like a Pink Floyd song and you might think it is them upon first hearing it. 26 songs, many of them short synthesizer instrumentals or short refrains of some of the songs.
