This was recorded live in Germany in 1975. Passport with guest stars Les McCann ,Phillip Catherine, Johnny Griffin and Pete York. Buddy Guy is also listed as guitarist but his contribution on “I Just Want To Make Love To You” is replaced on this pressing of the record with “Ready For Takeoff”. The six tracks offer plenty of time for jamming. “Compared To What” is the lead off track with Les McCann singing on this often covered song made popular by McCann. Much of the album sounds like The Mahavishnu Orchestra with Phillip Catherine’s guitar expanding their sound. There is plenty of Doldinger and Griffin trading sax lines and a short solo of the dual drummers Curt Cress and Pete York. Probably my favorite Passport album. One I bought for $8. The record and cover are in very good shape.
