Their fourth album from 2007 and one I bought then. Named after a river in Russia,they are an Indie band from Austin led by Will Scheff.Might have played it once or twice. There seems to be some kind of theme to this ,there are two songs about a woman named Marie.The songs are not the usual verse and chorus but more like stories. Not to thrilled with this record,the song that I liked best was “Savannah Smiles” a sad song the relationship of a father and daughter,said to be about porn star Savannah who committed suicide.The last song ” John Allen Smith Sails” is a re-working of The Beach Boys “Sloop John B”
