This is one of their better albums. This 1978 release is less Country and Western then some of their previous albums. The playing is excellent as always and most songs have nice instrumental breaks. “I’ll Be Loving You” and “Singing Rhymes” on side one are good. The slightly Funky “Change Is Gonna Come” and the acoustic “Asking Too Much Of You” on side two are also good. None of the boring ballads that are on some of their other records, there is nothing here you would want to skip. This is a cutout bought used like most of my Marshall Tucker Band records in the mid 80’s. The label is way off center,probably why it was a cutout, so at the end of the record the needle runs over the paper label where it can build up on the needle making it necessary to clean it with a brush.
