A great Jazz Rock album that came out in late 1971. With Billy Cobham,Jan Hammer,Rick Laird, Jerry Goodman,and the amazing John McLaughiln on guitar they play some extrordinary music. I remember cuts from this record being played in some kind of music class I had in 9th grade. The music ranges from straight on Rockers like “The Noonward Race” and “Vital Transformations” to the pastoral “A Lotus On Irish Streams” with Violin,Piano,and acoustic guitar. “You Know You Know” another more quiet piece has some interesting moments. Altogether a classic album of Jazz Rock Fusion. This is a used one I bought sometime in the 80’s.
