They are a band from North Carolina led by Mitch Easter,who produced R.E.M.’s first couple records, and Sara Romweber and Faye Hunter on drums and bass. An indie band,they played Pop or Jangle Pop music. This is their first release,a six song EP from 1983. I remember seeing the video for “Every Word Means No” on MTV while in Massachusetts. he video featured puppies and I liked the song so I bought the record. That is the best song although they are all OK. most vocals are by Faye Hunter but Mitch does sing on the last song “Leader Of Men” another catchy song.
