The second covers album by The Lemonheads. This came out in 2019 ten years after their last record,also covers. Evan Dando is helped out by many musicians,Chris Brokow being the only one I recognized. Female back-up vocals on most of the songs. The writers of the songs are not listed but I knew “Old Man Blank” was a Bevis Frond song and “Take It Easy” is The Eagles song. The first song “Can’t Forget” is one I knew but couldn’t remember who sang it originally.”Round Here” is a country song I had head played by someone at work. The song T.A.Q.N. stands for Take a Quaalude now after hearing it. I bought this about six months ago a had never listened to it. It’s on yellow vinyl. In 2010 I went to see The Lemonheads at the Sellersville Theatre with my wife. We had seats at a table in front of the stage. There were hardly any people there. A band called The Candles opened up. After a long wait Evan Dando come out alone and did a few acoustic songs. Then The Candles came back and backed him for the rest of the concert. They played most of the songs I wanted to hear. I thought it was pretty bizarre. My wife bought The Candles CD they had for sale and had every member sign it after the show.
