Around 1975 WMMR started playing songs from a record called Beserkley Chartbusters,a sampler album by artists on the Berkeley,Ca. label. Greg Kihn had two songs on that record that were played on the station. The first two songs on this, his first record,were also played. He’s backed by a drummer and bass player. It’s an OK record nothing really stands out. The acoustic “Kid From Louieville” is the song I like the best. It’s a 1976 release and one I bought about ten years ago.
