This is a compilation of singles,B-sides and non album tracks that was released in 1998. A year earlier New Order released a compilation album with the same name. Besides the singles this record has four of the five tracks from their initial EP from 1977. These songs were more in the Punk vein with more prominate guitar. Other good songs are “Autosuggestion”,”Transmission”,”Dead Souls” and the often covered “Love Will Tear Us Apart” the last song they recorded before Ian Curtis’s suicide. This is a 2015 re-issue that has the original single record plus the second album of bonus tracks released on the CD version.
