Elton John-Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only The Piano Player

This is one from late ’72 and one my sister owned. I played side one a lot and it’s one of my favorite Elton John sides. Starting of with “Daniel” a ballad and another big hit for him it is followed by “Teacher I Need You” and “Elderberry Wine”. “Blues For Baby And Me” is another one of my favorites and the side closes with “Midnight Creeper” which adds some horns to the mix. Side two I never listened to much,it has “Crocodile Rock” one of his worst songs but I do like the last song “High Flying Bird”. This is a German import I bought sometime in the late 90’s or early 00’s. the cover has a glossy finish and is on the DJM label used for his European releases. It has a 1972 copyright date on it. The cover and record are in good shape.
