This is a one-off project that was released in 1984. I was living in Hull when I bought this record. It’s one of my favorites by Sammy. All songs were written by Hagar and Schon except a cover of “A Whiter Shade Of Pale”. Side one is really great starting off with “Top Of The Rock” one of his best songs followed by “Missing You” and “Animation” which leads int two short instrumentals. The whole side is rocking with some nice long solos by Neal Schon, something he didn’t do much with Journey,at least on record.Side two has the Procol Harum cover and two more rockers the nasty “Hot And Dirty” and “My Home Town”.
