The Gun Club was a band led by Jeffrey Lee Peirce. They were involved in the Post Punk/Cowpunk scene of L.A. in the early 80’s.Another band that went through many line-up changes this concert features Patricia Morrison on Bass and Jim Duckworth on guitar. I had their first record Fire Of Love on cassette and many of the songs on this record are from that album. The music is pretty rough with Duckworth’s down and dirty guitar and Peirce sounding a bit like Chris D.Unfortunately the sound is really bad,it sounds like an audience tape with lots of drop outs. This was a Record Store Day release from 2020. Peirce died in 1996.
