Foghat-Live

This came out in 1977. Craig McGregor was added as permanent bass player with Nick Jameson going back to producing. They run through six songs on this rocking set starting off with “Fool For The City”.”Home In My Hand” is followed with “I Just Want To Make Love To You” from their first record. Side two has “Road Fever” from the second album”Honey Hush” from Energized and ends with :Slow Ride”. This was the high point of this band although the next album Stone Blue did have the title track that got some airplay on FM radio. This is another record from a dollar bin. The die cut cover is ripped but the record sounds pretty good. No skips. As with other bands from the 70’s they continued to release occasional albums and concerts with new and old members coming and going, last releasing a record in 2016 with drummer Roger Earl the only original member remaining. Craig McGregor moved to Wyomissing,Pa. in the 90’s and died of cancer in 2018. Dave Peverett passed away in 2000 and Rod Price in 2005 from health issues. Both were in their 50’s.
