Dan Fogelberg-Souvenirs

original

This is his second album and the only one that’s any good. His other records can be found in any $1 bin. I bought this in 1974 when it came out. It was produced by Joe Walsh, who played guitar on every track but one.He also had help from Graham Nash,Don Henley, and Glen Frey on backing vocals. “Part Of The Plan” was a minor hit in ’74 and the two more rocking songs “As The Raven Flies” and “(Someone’s Been)Telling You Stories” are songs I always liked. The rest of the record is pretty good even the more Folky songs like “Morning Sky”,Better Change”,”Song From Half Mountain”,and “There’s A Place In The World For A Gambler”. I must have played this a lot ,it’s pretty scratchy with a lot of skips. The cover is another one with water damage.Probably won’t be keeping this one but will be on the lookout for a cheap used one.
