This is a great Progressive album from 1972. The band features Peter Banks, the original guitarist from Yes and keyboard player Tony Kaye also from yes. The first song “Small Beginnings” was a Top 40 hit in an edited version that I heard on AM radio that I always liked. The song sounds much like Yes as does most of the album. The acoustic “Morning Haze” is another good song with some nice guitar. I put it on one of my Mellow Tunes mix tapes, yes I had five or six of them that I made. “Children Of The Universe” is another good song on side one. Side two has the 13 minute “Dreams Of Heaven” which goes through several different moods with Banks paying some Jazzy guitar at one point. The record closes with “The Time It Takes” another quieter song. This is a used album I bought in the late 70’s,it still has the $2.99 price tag on it. The gatefold cover by Hipgnosis is best appreciated when opened up to see both sides of the leg and ass. I had it hanging on my bedroom wall when I lived at home. Unfortunately the cover is in bad shape, almost coming apart. The record is very scratchy,it’s been played a lot,but no skips. Been looking for a replacement but haven’t seen one yet.
