This one from 1972 was one I bought when it was released. Another one played hundreds of times. Every song is pretty good, “From The Beginning” is an acoustic song with a synthesizer ending much like “Lucky Man” ,”The Sheriff” ends with a Honky Tonk piano that is used in “Benny The Bouncer” from their next album. “Hoedown” is an Aaron Copeland composition. I always liked “Living Sin” on side two. “Abaddon’s Bolero” is a repeated melody that adds more instrumentation and effects as the song goes on. The record is in bad shape with deep scratches and a few skips. I’m going to have to trash this one and look for a good used one. There are plenty out there.
