The debut album from this collaboration of Johnny Marr formally of The Smiths and Bernard Sumner of New Order. Heavy on the synthesizer the music sounds much like New Order Or Pet Shop Boys. In fact Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe help out on “The Patience Of A Saint”. Overall it’s a good record of songs from that genre. Best songs are “Tighten Up”,”Getting Away With It”,and “Feel Every Beat”. I had this on cassette when it came out in 1991. This first time on vinyl release came out in 2015. They put out two more records in the 90’s, the last Twisted Tenderness, I have on CD.
