Dr. Dog is from the Philly area.This is a reworking of the bands first recording from 2001 that never got an official release. They re-recorded it and released it in 2016. Like the sticker on the shrink wrap said it’s on swampy green vinyl. I had played side one a few times and didn’t like it. The only song that was ok was “Bring My Baby Back” that has some good moments and I heard it played on WXPN a few times after I bought the record. Side two is not any better but does have “Engineer Says” the only decent song on the record. This is destined for the reject pile. When I get enough in there I will take them to a record store to sell them.
