Just a few months after buying their Broomtree album I found this one while looking through the used records at a record sore in Kutztown. For some reason I never got around to listening to it. This is the follow up to Broomtree from 1988. Another good record of Folk/Pop/Rock. Most of the vocals are from Jenny Homer who sounds a bit like a Country singer. Some songs that stuck out to me on first listen were “Tangled Ladders” that has a 60’s feel to it,”Misfortune”,and “All Is Not Well In This House” that kind of sounded like a Throwing Muses song to me. Another album I would like to listen to more. They put out two more records and an EP in the early to mid 90’s but probably not on vinyl. If I ever do see one on vinyl I would buy it.
