Their second album from 1972. I purchased this used probably sometime in the 80’s I don’t remember when.Toulouse Street is in New Orleans’s French Quarter. The cover wa shot in a brothel and the inside photo has the band members with some ladies who work there. This record has their first hits on it “Listen To The Music” and their version of the often covered gospel song “Jesus Is Just Alright”. “Rockin’ Down The Highway also got some airplay. This record sounds similar to their next record The Captain And Me,with their formula of hard rockers and acoustic, harmony featured songs like the title track. Other good songs are “Cotton Mouth”, a Seals and Crofts song, and “Disciple” a song that sounds like something on “What Were Once Vices…”.
