Mercury Rev are from Buffalo and this is their debut release which came out in 1991. First time listening to this one, it’s a spacey, trippy, Psychedelic treat I really enjoyed listening to. Martin Strong in his Great Rock Discography gave it a 9 out of 10 and I have to agree with him. Lots of distorted and droning guitars, flute, bass and drums with vocals by David Baker, sometimes singing sl slow it sounds like the speed is wrong. This is one I will try to find a vinyl copy of.
