Music from the second Bonnaroo festival in 2003. After starting out as a Jam Band festival for this second one they added many diverse bands and solo artists. This comes with a booklet with photos and a line-up of the four day festival at each of the five stages. When I went in 2008 there were eight stages making it hard to decide who to see. I put on side one about 69 minutes long. Some good songs by The Allman Brothers, Warren Haynes, Sonic Youth, and My Morning Jacket. The Dead closed the festival and there is a good version of “Sugar Magnolia. “It’s The Sun” b The Polyphonic Spree with their choir was another good one. Although I didn’t listen to it today side two has a good tracks by Widespread Panic and ben Harper covering “Sexual Healing”. Leo Kottke and Mike Gordon play “Rings” a song I recognized as a Top 40 hit from the early 70’s I don’t remember who originally recorded it. I also had a CD of the first festival in 2002 which I sold and 2004 which I still have.
