This is number 7 of the In The Fishtank series. Low and Dirty Three were in Amsterdam for a festival so they stopped in the studio to record this CD. As usual there are six songs totaling 30 minutes. Low’s music is slow and subdued with Mimi Parker’s singing barley above a whisper. Dirty Three adds their strings to the mix especially on the instrumental “Cody”. An interesting take on “Down By The River” with a long, slow kind of spacey 7 minute intro before singing the verses at the very end. The last song “Lordy” is more energetic with Alan Sparhawk playing the banjo.
