Kraan is a German Progressive Rock band with Funk and Jazz leanings. This was recorded in Berlin in 1974. This 4 piece band plays guitar, sax bass and drums. Mostly instrumental the singing is in English. Some great jams with the bass sounding most impressive. with four songs over ten minutes there is plenty of guitar and sax soloing, the sax sounding sometimes like a violin and sometimes like a synthesizer. I knew this cover because it was in my Jem Imports Record Catalogue that I bought in 1976 at Village Records at the Tri-State Mall. An 80 page book listing records from Europe that I still have although it’s starting to show some wear. When I saw this CD I recognized it and bought it. They have stayed pretty active through the years taking a break in the 90’s and last putting out an album in 2023 still with three original members.
