A great CD from 1997. Supposedly getting their name from leader Paul Durham influences Black Sabbath and Stereolab. From the San Francisco area they put out this one record before breaking up. Durham later reformed the band with a different line-up. “Wash It Away” is a great song and now can’t get it out of my head. That song along with “Time Ago” and “Ten Million Years” are all on my playlist. Also really good are “She Loves Me”, “Anything” and “All The Money In The World” a P.J. Harvey song with additional lyrics by Durham. Some of the songs have a dark sound to them but are melodic and catchy. This one had a vinyl release in 2023 but a limited issue of only 500. I would love to find one.
