Original

This one is a bit of a mystery. I know I had this album when I was still living at home. It was originally released in 1976 on the London label. This copy I have is on the Warner Brothers label. According to Discogs that is a reissue from 1979. Since I moved out of my parents house in August of 1978 I don’t see how I could have had this version. I’m sure I wouldn’t have sold it because I really like this record, unless it was in bad shape and got a replacement, although the original London label does not look familiar to me. Anyway, it does have the tri-fold cover and 10 great songs. Side one is what I played the most with the Country flavored “It’s Only Love” followed by “Arrested For Driving While Blind” a song about drinking and going for a drive. “El Diablo” has some haunting guitar licks while “Snappy Kakkie” has a cool guitar solo. “Ten Dollar Man” on side two is another good one. “Pan Am Highway” has a bit of a Hawiian sound. “Asleep In The Desert” is an instrumental with acoustic guitar. The cover is in good shape which leads me to suspect it wasn’t my original record, you can even read the printing on the spine. Side one plays good side two has a few skips.
