Warren Zevon-Bad Luck Streak In Dancing School

A used one I picked up sometime since I moved to West Lawn at the Ephrata store for $3. “A Certain Girl” is a cover of a song by New Orleans native Allen Toussaint written in 1961. It was the single from the album and I remember hearing it on the radio in 1980 when the album was released. “Play It All Night Long” is sort of a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd. The Drive-By Truckers don a killer version on their Fine Print album and was the first I heard the song. Those were the only two songs I knew and after listening to it the only ones I liked. Like his last record he is helped by Eagles Glen Frey, Don Henley and Joe Walsh plus Linda Ronstadt, J.D. Souther and Jackson Browne. “Jeannie Needs A Shooter” was co-written with Bruce Springsteen. This will be my first in a new reject pile since I just took about 40 to the record store in West Reading earlier this week to sell.
