Wishbone Ash-Live Dates II

This was a single album with a bonus record included with the first 25,000 copies released in 1980. This is a 2020 limited edition Record Store Day release with both records, on blue and yellow translucent vinyl with a glossy cover. There is no information about the second record except for titles on the record label. The back of the gatefold cover only lists the songs on the original record. I bought this a couple years ago at the store in Kutztown. First time listening to it. More great tracks with their two guitar attack. Most of the songs are nearly 6 minutes or longer so there’s lots of jamming. Side two with “F.U.B.B.” and “The Way Of The World” both around 10 minutes are a great example of this. Most of the songs are from Just Testing, New England, and Front Page News, not my favorite albums by them, but the selections are the better songs on those records. “No Easy Road” played like an old time Rock’n’Roll song and “Doctor” are from Wishbone Four. Only one song, “Time Was” is from Argus, their best album. This being a new record the pressing is pretty bad with lots of crackles, pops, and skips. Only side three sounds right.
