Wire Train are from San Francisco. This is their second album from 1985. Bought new at that time. Haven’t put this one on in a long time. Makes me thing of living in Hull then, in Boston’s South Shore. Mostly guitar oriented, it does have the odd synthesizer and electronic drums giving it that 80’s sound. There are three songs I really like. “When She Was A Girl”, “Love, Love”, and “The Ocean”. They also cover Dylan’s “God On Our Side”. Overall a good record.
