This self titled release is the bands seventh from 1987. Bought new at that time. Formed in 1978 by David Coverdale, he is the only constant member in this ever changing line-up. John Sykes, Neil Murry and Aynsley Dunbar play on this one. One of the best examples of 80’s Hard Rock this was the bands best seller. This of course has the amazing song “Still Of The Night” . Love it every time I hear that song and a great video featuring Coverdale’s girlfriend at the time Tawny Kitaen. “Hear I Go Again” was a remake of a song from their 1982 album but sounds overplayed after being used in a commercial. “Give Me All Your Love Tonight” is another great rocker. “Is This Love” is a power ballad that I actually like. The pressing sounds great. It’s from the 80’s!
