Another good record from Van Halen and the last with David Lee Roth. This is one I bought new in 1984. The videos for “Jump”, “Panama”, and “Hot For Teacher” were in heavy rotation on MTV then. I can’t listen to “Hot For Teacher” without seeing the video in my head. Eddie Van Halen played some synthesizer on “Jump” and “I’ll Wait”, another popular track from the record. “Drop Dead Legs” is another one I really like. I bough the nest to records with Sammy Hagar and the next three on cassette including Van Halen III with new singer Gary Cherone which was pretty bad. The four original members got together for one more record in 2012 which I have never heard. Eddie died of a stroke in 2020 at the age of 65.
